As you can see in this series of images, the operator managed to direct the nozzle at his foot while cleaning the floor.
The pressure was approximately 3000psi (207bar), with a flow rate of around 18 Litres Per Minute.
The nozzle was a 15° Fan, swiped briefly across the boot at about 10cm distance.
It penetrated the rubber safety boot just behind the steel toe cap.
The operator said it was incredibly painful, and had he fully understood the potential for harm, he would have taken more care, which could have possibly avoided this incident...
